Brad (Bruno Bilotta - Black Cobra) is a muscle-bound technician working in an underground lab when the lights go out unexpectedly. After he and his colleagues (Bjorn Hammer - Opera, Maurice Poli - Massacre) find their way to the surface, they discover that the world has suffered a nuclear disaster that has turned the surviving humans into homicidal mutants ready to kill them all! Searching for people he can trust, he meets the beautiful Julia (Malisa Longo - Ricco: The Mean Machine) and the adventure continues. It’s up to Brad and the other straggling survivors to continue the human race as they struggle to defeat the mutants holding the future of humanity hostage!
Holding it’s own as a late 80s entry of the Italian Post-Apocalyptic wave, Urban Warriors is a rarely seen oddity for fans of the genre and obscure action/sci-fi films. While old schoolers may remember it from the VHS rental era under the enticing “Michael Dudikoff presents” line, Urban Warriors is now available for the first time on Blu-ray from a 4K scan of the negative. This inagural limited edition Cauldron Crypt release also includes a full color booklet with liner notes by Mike Foster and newly filmed interviews by Cannibal Worlds author and featurette mastermind Eugenio Ercolani!
